There’s nothing like settling down on the sofa with a nice snack and watching some good TV. This week we have compiled a list of some great television shows from a variety of genres for you to check out.

“Bridgerton” is a really good show that has had great reviews from audiences and critics alike. I don’t think that many people are aware that this series is based on the romance novels of the same name from author Julia Quinn. Apparently, the producer Shonda Rhimes had run out of books to read while on vacation and picked up “Bridgerton” which she then decided to turn into a show. The third season is out this summer.

“Bloodline” is a show that ran from 2015 to 2017 spanning three seasons. The thriller drama, created by Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler, and Daniel Zelman, tells the story of a family whose lives are upturned because of secrets from the past. The show was nominated for several awards over its three seasons where Kyle Chandler played the lead.

In 2020 the drama show “Spinning Out” was released. Starring Evan Roderick and Kaya Scodelario as a couple who skate together, the show was unfortunately cancelled after only one season. I watched this and really enjoyed it so I don’t understand why it wasn’t renewed for a second season. It is still worth watching the 10 episodes though.
