According to media reports, a few locals first observed the duo atop the tower and alerted the local police station.
The relatives of the boy and girl were also informed about the incident was rushed to the site.
A massive crowd gathered around the tower urging the lovers to come down.
After several hours of negotiation with the couple, the police officers ultimately persuade them to come down.
The girl took the intense step after a heated argument with her boyfriend over a phone call, the police said.
The couple was taken into custody but no case was filed.
The duo were unhurt and the issued was resolved with the intervention of family members.
