VIDEO: Over 10,000 people, motorcade join visually impaired man’s wedding in Algeria

The wedding of a blind Algerian young man known as Shams El Din Qada turned into a demonstration in which thousands participated to celebrate with the groom.

Local media reported 10,000 people from his village came out to celebrate in Khenchela, northeastern Algeria.

People gathered to share the groom's joy after calls spread on social media platforms to support the blind young man.

More than a thousand cars also participated in the wedding procession, which made the newlyweds cry, in addition to his mother and father, because they were deeply touched by the gesture.

The social media platforms shared several photos of Shams El Din's wedding while he was carried up amid cries of celebration and songs.

Algerian media referred to the participation of folklore bands from Libya and Tunisia in the wedding ceremony.
