The famous Turkish chef, Burak Ozdemir, filed a lawsuit against his father, accusing him of fraud and exploitation of his name.

Burak's crisis with his father began after the devastating earthquake in Turkey, last February, after the chef tried to help the victims, but he faced obstacles due to his father's intervention, so he decided to cut off his relationship with the latter, according to local media.

Burak went to court after learning that his father had sold the rights to exploit his name to others who opened a restaurant in Istanbul that did not belong to his original restaurant chain.

The court set the first hearing for the case in September.

The famous Turkish chef confirmed that he was subjected to fraud and that he only owns one branch of his restaurant in Istanbul, which he will open soon, warning against supporting fraudsters who stole his name and image in the other restaurant.

Burak wrote on Instagram, “The first and only Czn Burak Vadİstanbul Mall in Istanbul. We will soon share with you the opening date. We don't have any other branches in Istanbul. We have branches in Dubai, Qatar and Tajikistan ❤️🤲.”

Burak Ozdemir began selling his luxury cars, to provide the necessary liquidity to implement the designs of his new restaurant, which he will open next September, in conjunction with the Turkish judiciary considering his case against his father and accusing him of fraud.
