30 seconds of terror: Malaysian influencer gets stuck inside a waterslide

Social media users circulated a video clip documenting moments of terror experienced by a Malaysian influencer on Tik Tok after he got stuck inside a waterslide and almost breathed his last.

The clip, which achieved more than 40 million views, showed the famous Tik Toker, “Jami”, while he was inside a water game in one of the amusement parks, in the Penang Escape amusement park located in the southwestern region of Penang Island in Malaysia.

The young man initially passed the water tunnel with ease, but was later seen stopping abruptly about halfway down the tunnel before speeding up again.

The pause came again, and Jamie tried to crawl through the narrow space, continuing to scream for help, and fortunately his cries were heard.

Park staffer opened the upper part of the waterslide to rescue him.

The period lasted 30 seconds, which is the period of entering the slide until the moment of his rescue.

The video clip sparked a great deal of controversy after it went viral. Many expressed their fear of entering such narrow spaces, with new fear unlocked.
