A Malaysian girl accidentally transferred her first salary from her recently acquired job to someone else's bank account, instead of sending it to her mother.
The girl explained, in a video on Tik Tok, her suffering, saying, "Today I got my first salary. I wanted to surprise my mother, and send her money via a transfer from a teller, but by mistake I transferred it to another person, as I did not verify the identity of the addressee before confirming the transfer.”
She added that she sent the receipt to her mother, who told her that she did not receive any money.
The girl then contacted the person to whom the transfer was made and explained the situation to him.
The man told her that she must forget the money, and admit her mistake, but he returned her salary the next day.
The man while returning the money told her that he wanted to teach her a simple lesson, as someone else might not return the money sent by mistake, and that she should be more careful next time.
