Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has encouraged people to participate in the Dubai Run which marks the end of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2021.
Sheikh Hamdan said on Instagram, Join me in the Dubai Run, one of the most prominent activities of the Dubai Fitness Challenge on November 26th… Sheikh Zayed Road will turn into a track for competition and excellence...With your participation, we will make Dubai the most active city in the world.”
The Crown Prince of Dubai's 30-day fitness challenge, which began in 2017, returned for its fifth year, delivering thousands of free workout sessions around the emirate and online from October until November 27.
Dubai Fitness Challenge powers into its final week with hundreds of different fitness activities and events for every day of the week, culminating in the iconic Dubai Run on Sheikh Zayed Road, which will see tens of thousands of people running, jogging or walking their way to a more active lifestyle while replacing cars on the city’s famous highway on Nov.26.
Other highlights of the final week include Riverdance masterclasses, Sparring Classes, Football training sessions, kids sports workshops, sunset yoga, and the return of The Beach Swim to Jumeirah Beach Residence, with fun and challenging competitions for kids and adults alike.
Hayward, meanwhile, took the overall honours in the 10km run with a time of 47:28, finishing a minute and 37 seconds ahead of Helen Boland of Ireland (49:05), while Kahli Johnson of the UK was third overall with a time of 49:10.
The video showed Sheikh flipping and swinging in the air thousands of feet above the ground.
As fight fans worldwide now know, Abu Dhabi will be hosting UFC 280: OLIVEIRA vs MAKHACHEV on October 22.
The hotly anticipated fight night includes two title bouts and doubles up as the headline event of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week (ADSW) 2022, which runs from October 17-23.
After a successful pilot programme last academic year, Abu Dhabi’s Early Childhood Authority (ECA) and Manchester City Football Schools UAE have extended their partnership to kick-off the ‘Healthy Lifestyles’ programme.
The participants are from all walks of life and a cross section of the community, including riders of all levels of experience, from seasoned racers to enthusiastic recreational cyclists.
