Thanks for being with me and guiding me through many stages in life. All that I thought of were those nostalgic moments I had from my childhood. He still plays the role of a father and I have learned immensely. When we used to get spare time, we would sit and talk to him about life and how he was when he was a teenager. A special gift for me and a blessing to have him.

James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, used to tell the story of a greeting-card company that decided to provide free Mother’s Day cards for prison inmates. The response was amazing, with long lines to get the cards. The next month when Father’s Day rolled around, the company decided to do the same thing.

This is my very first Father’s Day as a dad. My partner has just given birth, so the end is nigh.
