If some reputed global agency was to conduct a survey of the mood of the world today, it would most probably conclude, there is a high degree of mental depression and feeling of abandonment. There are three reasons for this possible global mental depression. First, the Ukraine-Russia war seems to be endless. All efforts to ensure a cease-fire or end this bloody battle, have flopped. So, young men continue to die, and children get orphaned.
Second, the Gaza war has become inhuman. A famine reigns. There is no food or water for local people. The famine is man-made. Nobody is effective in amending the situation.
Third, the tumult caused by the new tariffs is distressing supply chains, shutting factories, and fueling inflation. The poor and the middle classes are bearing the brunt of these cataclysmic economic turmoils.
So, very few people would be joyous in these, rather helpless times. Common citizens are reduced to stranded spectators, in this drama reshaping the globe. Many people are depressed and mentally disturbed.
Can some leaders galvanise to resolve these issues? Leaders must build a world, where people are happy, well-fed and enjoy living harmoniously.
