When it comes to choosing a movie to watch, the main factor in that choice is our mood, wouldn’t you agree? This week we have compiled a fantastic list of all the different types of films you can watch dependent on your mood.

Maybe you have had a difficult week at work, especially if you have been off for a winter break and are just back. This weekend we would imagine you will be in the mood for an uplifting, joyous sort of movie experience. Take a trip back to 2003 and let the hilarious Jack Black perk up your mood with the movie “School of Rock.” Black plays a guitarist who leaves his band and ends up teaching a group of middle schoolers how to play instruments. It is seriously funny and Black is a comedic genius.

Let’s say you’re in the mood for a feel-good, feel-less-alone type of film. Period drama “Little Women” by director Greta Gerwig might be right up your street. The 2019 movie tells the story of four sisters and features an ensemble cast with Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Laura Dern and many more. The film had six Oscar nominations and won for Best Costume Design.

If you are in the mood to scare yourselves silly (horror fans I will never understand you) then we have some interesting options for you to choose from. Anything by director Jordan Peele usually does the trick so check out his 2019 “Us,” a follow-up to “Get Out.” Lupita Nyong’o stars in the psychological horror which grossed $256 million worldwide against a budget of $20 million. Let us know if you enjoyed our suggestions.
