Social media users in India have become very active once again. They are objecting to the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer “Pathan,” they want the rollback of the “Besharam Rang” song or face a boycott. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday addressed the subject of social media toxicity and cancel culture, sending out a call for positivity, in remarks that assume significance amid protests against his upcoming movie “Pathaan.”  

The star said this at the opening of the 28th Kolkata International Film Festival. He requested people to spread positivity and remain positive.  I really appreciate King Khan for talking it straight.  I don’t know why some people on social media started objecting to each and every thing and are creating a negative environment. Let the film be a film and we in India have the Central Board of Film Certification, which has been regulating Bollywood films so why should we bother about the content? Let the authority decide.
