We have got a rather delicious piece for you this week. Our talented Saleha Irfan shares her very own tried and tasted scrumptious mango recipes which will no doubt provide a refreshing treat for any summer day, no matter how hot it gets.

Mango trifle not only tastes and looks great, but it is super easy to make too. It can be put into a large glass dish or smaller dishes to serve at gatherings. If you prefer a savoury to a sweet option, the mango salsa will be the perfect little dish to serve with nachos or as a side salad to a heavier meal. Again, the salsa is super easy to make.

In other news this week, if you’ve made the trifle and want to burn off the calories, turn to our Fitness pages to read all about working out on a barre. While it may look like a simple workout, it definitely is not. I remember taking a class a while back and it left me sorer than a weightlifting session. You basically use your own body weight to tone and sculpt your figure with precise and calculated moves.

If you do not have the confidence to attend an actual class, there are plenty of online options to get you going. All you really need is something to balance against. Pay attention to your technique though, while it is easy to follow the moves it is also easy to pull a muscle.
