Ten female volunteers from the medical field departed from the UAE on Sunday heading for  Gaza to join the integrated field hospital that the UAE has established in the Gaza Strip to provide the necessary medical treatment and assistance to the Palestinian people.

They will join their colleagues of volunteers, including doctors, and nurses who have already started their treatment and medical assistance services for the injured as part of the efforts made by the UAE field hospital in Gaza, which has already started receiving the wounded over past few days as part of the UAE's ‘Gallant Knight 3’ humanitarian operation for Gaza.

Upon the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and within the Operation “The Gallant Knight 3”, the UAE continues to transport humanitarian aid to relieve civilians in the Gaza Strip, for the 35th day.

The number of cargo aircraft carrying releif materials has reached to 101 aircraft, in addition to a cargo ship, bringing this to 5,782 tonnes of relief aid.

The UAE’s humanitarian and relief aid aims to alleviate the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially women and children, as the UAE bridge continues to transport medical supplies and urgent food and relief aid to them there.
