The civil defence teams succeed in bringing the fire under control in record time at Industrial Area No.6.

The teams of the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence on Friday brought under control a fire that erupted in warehouses for auto used spare parts. No casualties were reported as a result of the fire.

The operations room of the Sharjah Police General Headquarters received a report at 15:34 on Friday that a fire broke out in Industrial Area 6.

Fire engines rushed to the scene of the fire and started dealing with the fire and evacuating the workers from the site in collaboration with the patrols of Sharjah Police, which in turn helped divert vehicles away from the fire and find alternative routes to reduce traffic congestion.

The civil defence teams succeeded in bringing the fire under control in record time and reported some damage in auto spare parts and warehouses as a result of the fire.

The firefighters then began the process of cooling the site to prevent the spread of the flames and hand the site over to the competent authorities to check how the fire erupted.
