Massive fire in Dubai brought under control: Civil Defence

The Dubai Civil Defence teams have controlled a massive fire that broke out in two warehouses that store building material in the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, Dubai.

The operations room of the Dubai Civil Defence was alerted at 12:12 pm on Saturday about two warehouses that caught fire in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area.

Immediately, the firefighting squads were dispatched from Nad Al Sheba Civil Defence Station as a first responder. Upon arrival, it was found that two warehouses meant for storing paints and building material were engulfed in a massive fire.

As the warehouses contained flammable material, black thick smoke blanketed the area, according to the field commander.

The firefighting teams instantly proceeded with dealing with the incident and at 13:14 pm, the field commander reported that the blaze was brought under control with no injuries or deaths.

Recently, the Dubai Civil Defence teams were able to control a massive fire that broke out in a car showroom in the Ras Al Khor, Dubai.

The fire damaged 55 cars that were being displayed in 8 showrooms, however, no injuries were reported.
