The Dubai Criminal Court imprisoned two Asian 3 months, ordered their deportation from the country after serving their sentences, the confiscation of the seizures, and fined each one of them Dhs100,000, on charges of transporting 27 gas cylinders in a non -custom vehicle.

The details of the case date back to June 2023 when a police patrol suspected a vehicle in the Grand Souk in Dubai.

The patrol reportedly stopped it and asked the driver who was with another person about what he was transferring, so they looked embarrassed and afraid, which pushed the police patrol to search the vehicle, where they found 27 gas cylinders.

The patrol team asked for the permit to transfer these dangerous materials, and one of them said they had no licence from the competent authorities, so they were arrested.

On being interrogated, the two suspects confessed that they were working for a compatriot in return for Dhs1,700 per month for each of them, to bring gas cylinders from other emirates to the Emirate of Dubai, where they sold them.

The General Department of Criminal Evidence and Crime Science report proved that the seized gas cylinders contained Propane and Butane gases, which are fire -treated materials.
