Dubai Civil Defence members douse the apartment fire in Al Barsha.

The Dubai Civil Defence teams brought under control a fire that broke out in a building in Al Barsha area. No casualties were reported as a result of the fire. Earlier, the operations room of the Dubai Civil Defence received a report at 9:35am on Sunday stating that a fire had erupted in a building in the Al Barsha area.

Al Barsha Fire Station was notified accordingly for action and arrived at the scene of the fire at 9:41am, achieving a response time of six minutes, to find that the fire erupted in an apartment of the building. Teams from the Emirates Martyrs Station and Nadd Al Shiba Station also rushed to the scene of the fire for support.

Upon their arrival, the specialized teams began evacuating residents and fighting the fire before the scene was left to douse at 10:20am. The operation came to an end at 11:57am and the scene of the fire was handed over to the competent authorities fir further investigations.
