An Asian duo was booked and referred to criminal court, along with other runaway accomplices, on attempted murder charges after they have stabbed two men over a money dispute in Dubai.

Official records indicate that the incident took place during last January, when the first victim was approached by the angry gang members near Al Quoz area, who asked him about Dh5,000 that he was supposed to pay.

The victim testified saying, "The defendant asked me about the money then poured hot tea on me. The rest of his accomplices were holding knifes and began to stab me in an attempt to kill me.”

When the second victim witnessed the assault, he immediately interfered to help his friend.

Unfortunately for him, he was also beaten and stabbed in the chest and neck before being pushed to the ground.

Apparently, the gang was forcing the victim to pay money in return for his stay in the vicinity.

However, police were alerted about the incident and the two defendants were apprehended on assault and attempted murder charges.

The hunt is still going on for the other runaway accomplices.
