Dubai restaurant in Deira catches fire, no casualties

Squads of the Dubai Civil Defense controlled a fire that erupted in a restaurant located opposite City Centre Deira on Wednesday morning.
The firefighting teams were dispatched from the Port Said Station, after the operations room of the Civil Defense had been alerted about the fire at 9:58 am, according to official sources.
The fire caused no casualties, the sources confirmed. It was said that the firefighting squads was able to contain the fire in a record time, followed by conducting the cooling operations for the scene.

The fire reportedly caused material damages for the restaurant’s contents, according to the sources. Examination of the scene by the competent teams is still ongoing to disclose circumstances of the incident, the sources added.
