Ain Dubai (Dubai Eye) ferris wheel opened its doors to the public on Thursday with fireworks, drone show.

The ferris wheel is the largest ferris and entertainment wheel in the world.

The Ain Dubai is almost twice the height of the London Eye.

The London Eye has a height of 135 metres, while Ain Dubai is 250 metres.

Ain Dubai pods can carry up to 1,750 people at a time.   

The Ain Dubai has 48 luxurious cabins.

It took over 9 million on-site contruction hours to come into being.
