The Ajman Civil Defence teams managed to put out a fire that broke out in a warehouse in the Industrial zone.
The warehouse contained cardboard and wooden materials, making the fire spread quickly.
The Ajman Civil Defence said there were no casualties reported.
Brigadier Rashid Jassim Majlad, Deputy Director General of the Civil Defence Department of Ajman, said the teams moved to the site immediately after receiving information about a fire incident.
The team members were able to extinguish the inferno with water and foam before it spread to the surrounding buildings.
The Brigadier called on the owners of the warehouses and facilities to adhere to the safety standards to prevent such incidents.
“The owners need to ensure that their alarm system is working and items are stored safely. Electrical installations should be maintained periodically especially in the summer,” he added.
Over 190 people living in Ajman underwent medical treatment in several hospitals after they suffered from vomiting and diarrhoea on Saturday.
The house owners were not aware of the danger until Ibrahim attempted to reach out for the maid to warn her.
