Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, met 300 Emiratis where were given job opportunity in Majid Al Futtaim Company.
The Dubai Crown Prince met the Emiratis at Expo 2020 Dubai on Monday.
Sheikh Hamdan said on Twitter, “I was pleased to meet about 300 Emirati cadres who were recently employed in Majid Al Futtaim Company within the framework of the federal government program to raise the competitiveness of national cadres ‘Nafis.’
“The private sector has a major role in the field of Emiratisation and empowering national competencies to participate in various sectors of the labour market.”
He also said, “The partnership between the public and private sectors supports the economic stability of our country and supports our efforts to develop our economy on a balanced and sustainable basis during the next fifty years of our journey... We will continue to develop integrative partnerships between the two sectors as a fundamental pillar in achieving economic and societal prosperity.”
“Additionally, there is a clear shift in the skill sets being sought by hiring managers, with an uptick in demand for ‘soft’ skills such as agility, creativity and communication alongside core technical competencies in order for personnel to have the optimal attributes needed to navigate what remains a very challenging business climate.”
