FMAC athletes dominate Al Ain Judo Championship, reaffirm their top position

Fujairah Martial Arts Club reinforced its position as one of the leading judo clubs in the UAE after claiming top positions at the Al Ain International Judo Championship, held at Al Ain Sports Club Hall with wide participation from both local and international clubs.

The club’s performance was particularly outstanding in the boys’ junior category, where the team won the overall first-place trophy as well as the first-place trophy for UAE nationals, securing 13 medals in total—4 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze—demonstrating its technical superiority and consistent strong presence on the podium.

Winning the first-place trophy for UAE nationals reflects Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s strategic focus on developing Emirati athletes, preparing them both technically and physically to the highest standards. This approach contributes to strengthening the national teams with promising talents capable of representing the UAE at regional and international competitions, while boosting Emirati presence on global podiums.

In the girls’ junior category, Fujairah Martial Arts Club continued its strong performance, achieving the overall second-place trophy after the athletes earned 12 medals—3 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze. This success reflects the club’s growing commitment to women’s judo and its support for developing female athletes and nurturing emerging talent.

This achievement underscores Fujairah Martial Arts Club’s steady progress in consolidating its leadership in UAE judo this season, as it competes strongly for the overall excellence trophy for the third consecutive time, supported by a clear technical vision and comprehensive training programs aimed at building future champions of both genders.
