The second day of the 2024 Karate 1 Youth League in Fujairah was ablaze with electrifying performances as Jordanian athletes proved their mettle with three gold medals.

In the Junior Female Kata category, Miriam Dear of Italy shone brightly, displaying remarkable precision and skill to emerge victorious over her competitor, Jana Raft of Egypt, with a commanding score of 42.10 to 38.60.

The Junior Male Kata division witnessed a thrilling duel, with Muhammad Akio Zakio of Indonesia prevailing over Josiah Ling of New Zealand with a score of 41.00 to 39.90, propelled by Zakio's technical finesse and unwavering focus.

In the Junior Kumite Female -48kg category, Greece's Christina Triada Pappa delivered a dominant performance, securing a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Hayrunnisa Ilhan of Turkiye.

The Junior Kumite Female -53kg division saw Silya Abdesselem of France exhibiting exceptional skill and determination, triumphing over Dilaferuz Kuzieva of Uzbekistan with a resounding 7-2 win.

A captivating showdown unfolded in the Junior Female Kumite -59kg category, culminating in Gulay Orujova of Azerbaijan securing victory over Monica Arzumian of France through a Hantei or decision (0-0).

In the Junior Kumite Male -55kg category, Miras Abdikadyr of Kazakhstan emerged triumphant, defeating Farid Hajizada of Azerbaijan with a commendable score of 6-3, showcasing his prowess in karate.
