UAE leaders congratulate Qatar on winning Asian Cup for the second time in a row

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, have sent congratulatory messages to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad and the people of Qatar for winning the Asian Cup for the second time in a row.

“Sincere congratulations to my brother @TamimBinHamad and the Qatari people on Qatar's victory in the AFC Asian Cup in Doha and successful organisation of the tournament. I commend Jordan for an excellent performance and congratulate all participants for demonstrating the power of sport to build bridges of cooperation and friendship among countries and peoples,” Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed wrote on X.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said through his account on the "X" platform, "Great organisation, an enjoyable match and exceptional sports performance. Congratulations to my brother Tamim and the people of Qatar on winning the AFC Asian Cup. We also congratulate Jordan and its wonderful team in which Arabs take pride.”

“I congratulate Sheikh Tamim and the brothers in Qatar on the national football team’s victory in the Asian Cup. The Qatari and Jordanian teams presented an outstanding level during the tournament for which they deserved praise. I congratulate the sister State of Qatar on the success of organising this tournament. I wish it more sporting achievements,” said Sheikh Moansour Bin Zayed on X.
