Petromann emerged champions at the Royal Cup 2024 after the electrifying final and two weeks of exhilarating action on the field.

Spearheaded by the dynamic Shafan Shaikh and Irfan Sayed, organised under GWS by GSCGS, the tournament enthralled fans with their remarkable talent.

Six teams including Petromann, Sanquelim Eagles, Sanguem Warriors, VSCC, Karama 32 Warriors, and the intriguing Unknown Virus — clashed in thrilling encounters, each match a nail-biting affair.

Petromann's nerve battling triumph over Karama 32 Warriors and Sanquelim Eagles' dramatic victory against VSCC in the semi-finals set the stage for a championship clash of epic proportions.

In the grand finale, Petromann, led by the astute captain Tanveer Sadekar, reigned supreme with a commanding score of 73/3 in 6 overs. Nawaz Shaikh's scintillating knock of an unbeaten 30 proved decisive, despite Sanquelim Eagles' valiant effort reaching 54/6 in 6 overs. Petromann's collective strength secured the coveted title.

Nawaz Shaikh's exceptional performance earned him the Man of the Final trophy, while Tausif Jamadar's consistent brilliance throughout the tournament was recognised with the Best Batsman and Man of the Series awards, a testament to his impressive total of 152 runs. Sanquelim Eagles' Farhan Khan's impressive bowling prowess brought him the Best Bowler title.
