Durham coach Whitehead to impart nitty-gritty of game to aspirants at YTCA

Durham County cricket player Ben Whitehead teach the tricks of the trade to the aspiring cricketers at the Young Talent Cricket Academy (YTCA) during the summer camp from July6-Aug.6.

The camp will be held at the YTCA Goltay Cricket Academy, Dove Green School DIP and Ajman Oval.

Whitehead will be accompanied by the current UAE player Rameez Shahzad at the camp, where the duo will to impart the nitty-gritty of the game to the young aspirants.

Ben is a highly qualified UK English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) coach. He has great experience not only in the UK but also in the UAE.

He has also played a lot of cricket with England all-rounder Ben Stokes both in the UK and during the Gulf Cup way back in 2005.

He had also been one of Durham Cricket County player. Ben has also overseen the coaching and development of many elite cricketers.

He has been an indispensable cog in wheels of

Durham county coaching staff over the years.

Ben is respected as one of the best leading junior cricket coaches and his knowledge and experience will be a big boost for the attendees this year at the summer camp.
Chief organiser at the YTCA Shahzad Altaf said, “We are taking our tour to the UK very seriously as we believe the hard work that these kids put in should be acknowledged. We hope they are able to perform to the best of their abilities.”
