Liverpool star Mohamed Salah's agent denies reports of his transfer to Saudi club Al-Ittihad

Rami Abbas, the agent of Salah responded to the news circulating all over the Internet regarding Al-Ittihad club entering into serious negotiations to include the Egyptian player.

Ramy wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “If we were thinking of leaving Liverpool this year, we would not have renewed the contract with the club last summer. Mohamed Salah is still committed to his contract with Liverpool.”

Responding to the remarks that Saudi media quoted a source close to the player of the move, Ramy said, “It is true that there are negotiations between Mohamed Salah and the Saudi Al-Ittihad club. This is what I can say, and so far I do not have other details.”

Saudi media reported that Al-Ittihad club entered into serious negotiations to include Mohamed Salah in their team during the current summer transfer period.

The Saudi media quoted a source close to the player, “It is true. There are negotiations between Mohamed Salah and the Saudi club Al-Ittihad. That's what I can say, for now, I don't have any other details.”

The same source added, “The offer must be tempting for the Egyptian star to come to play in Saudi Arabia. Salah still has a lot to offer in England.”

The sources indicated that the club's offer amounted to 180 million euros for two seasons, in addition to 60 million pounds sterling to buy the remaining period in his contract from his English club, Liverpool.
