The Brazilian and the Paris Saint-Germain striker entered the circle of interests of the Saudi Al-Hilal club.

A delegation from the management of Al-Hilal Club went to the French capital, Paris to start negotiations with Neymar's representatives and the management of Paris Saint-Germain, in preparation for the completion of the deal, according to CBS.

Neymar moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for 222 million euros to become the most expensive player in football history, his transfer to Al-Hilal could cost the Saudi club only 45 million euros.

Al Hilal Saudi Arabia's interest in contracting with Neymar came after Lionel Messi refused to join the team, preferring to move to Inter Miami in the American League.

Neymar became close to leaving Paris Saint-Germain, in light of the player's desire to take on a new challenge, and the club's management welcomed him, amid the interest of many European clubs, led by Manchester United.

Media reports indicated during the past weeks, that the Manchester United administration had reached an advanced stage in negotiating with Neymar, but the deal was frozen, in light of the Glazer family's efforts to sell the English club this summer.
