AM Polo, IFZA Habtoor Polo teams stay unbeaten at the Silver Cup qualifiers

The third day of the Silver Cup 2023 tournament opened with a goal from Isidro Strada for the AM Polo team, and he ended the first chukker with a two-goal lead against the Dubai Wolves by Cafu.

The team kept their leading streak until halftime with a comfortable 5-goal lead. The Dubai Wolves by Cafu redeemed themselves in the succeeding chukkers with a flurry of goals from Carlos Ulloa and threatened to steal the victory with a last-second penalty.

Benjamin Urquiza successfully blocked the attempt and kept the win for AM Polo at 11 goals to 10.

The next match between IFZA Habtoor Polo and Bangash Dodson & Horrell teams had Juan Jauretche nicking the first goal for IFZA Habtoor Polo. The opposing team placed themselves on the scoreboard with penalty shots from Tomas Llorente Jr. and Ignacio Negri and carved a 2-goal lead by halftime. Matthew Perry tied the scores at 4, only to be matched with back-to-back goals from Federico von Potobsky for Bangash Polo. The last chukker saw Perry tie the game at 6 goals which resulted in an overtime. The race to score the golden goal fell in the hands of Perry and he sealed the win for IFZA Habtoor Polo at 7 goals to 6.
