Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo toured Expo 2020 Dubai on Friday and participated in a discussion about his passion and journey that saw him become one of the world’s top footballers.
A massive crowd attended Ronaldo’s session at Al Wasl Plaza, the heart of Expo Dubai.
Ronaldo also fulfilled a young child’s wish with a special meeting.
Expo 2020 Dubai said on Twitter, “Amazing! The incredible Cristiano Ronaldo made young Mayed's wish come true today at Expo 2020 Dubai, taking time out of a busy schedule for a special meeting. This was made possible by the Make-a-Wish Foundation!”
Expo also wrote, “Record breaking goal scorer and legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo swapped the football pitch with Al Wasl Plaza, where he engaged in a Q&A session amid cheers of his huge Dubai fan base at Expo 2020 Dubai.”
On Thursday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, met Portuguese football star in Dubai.
