MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) reached Dubai on Friday for the remaining leg of Indian Premier League 2021 which will be held in UAE.

Chennai, who are three-time IPL champions, shared a picture of their skipper seen with a suitcase at the airport.

"Get ready folks!" CSK tweeted.

Chennai Super Kings also shared pictures of Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Deepak Chahar, Karn Sharma and KM Asif waiting at the airport to board the flight to Dubai.

Dhoni and Raina, who both quit international cricket last year, only play in the IPL.

Earlier in the day, defending champions Mumbai Indians also reached the capital Abu Dhabi.

The second half of the IPL 2021 will be held in UAE after the outbreak of COVID-19 in various team bubbles at Ahmedabad and New Delhi in May this year.

Chennai are currently occupying second place in the points table with 10 points from seven matches.

The 14th season will resume on Sept.19 in Dubai with a blockbuster clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The action will then shift to Abu Dhabi where the Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Sharjah will host its first game on Sept.24 when Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Chennai Super Kings. In all, 13 matches will be held in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi.
