Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero and model-actress Sofía Calzetti take to the capital Abu Dhabi and its notable sights in recent social media update.

The couple makes the most of UAE’s temperate winter as they drink in the lavish nightscape of Abu Dhabi in an Instagram story on Calzetti’s verified account.

The 31-year-old footballer seems to have touched down on Tuesday with his partner and son Benjamín, kicking off their vacation at the Formula One AD Grand Pix on Yas island.

In a series of Instagram stories, Calzetti films the athlete in his racing gear as he revs the engine of the Aston Martin GT4 in a white helmet. All geared up, Agüero then cruises down the winding Yas Marina Circuit with his girlfriend in the passenger seat.

Ferrari World enters the next attraction on the couple’s list featured in Agüero’s post that shows him engaged in a playful boxing squabble with his ten-year-old son.

Upon witnessing the heartwarming interaction, a torrent of comments from Arab fans poured in.

The language of a devoted fan is truly universal: “You are a legend even in boxing,” “the best (person) to ever visit Abu Dhabi,” and one fan urged him to “come to Dubai.”

Without a doubt the highlight of the trip so far has been the sight of the Argentine football player in the traditional Emirati garb, affectionately captioned “my sheikh” by the 22-year-old actress-model on social media.

The lovebirds put on the modest kandora and abaya for a culturally immersive visit to the eminent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the capital city.

Agüero and Calzetti are known for traipsing around the world, from Ibiza to the Bahamas and now onto experiencing the UAE’s most pleasant season of the year.
