The UAE announced that its citizens can enter any countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council by using their Emirates ID cards. The decision took effect on April 29, 2022.

Sheikh Mohamed and Shiaa' Al Sudani also reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern, stressing their mutual keenness to continue consultations and coordination between their countries in to boost their cooperation in various fields.
Sheikh Mohammed underlined the necessity of spurring global economic growth and stemming the negative fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global sustainable development drive.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received Nechirvan Barzani, President of Iraq's Kurdistan region, who is currently on a visit to the UAE. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Barzani’s visit, aimed to expand cooperation and to serve the interests of both sides.
"The UAE is the first country I visited during my tour. I consider UAE my second home. Moreover, it is a global tourist destination witnessing an unprecedented boom in the field of bicycles," said Salim Saleh Al Sarifi.
This came in a phone call Sheikh Mohamed received on Wednesday from the Syrian president where they also discussed the ongoing developments in Syria and the Middle East in addition to issues of regional and international interest.
