The September’s new price of a litre of Super 98 petrol will be sold at Dhs 3.41 per litre in all fuel stations. The price of a litre of Special 95 petrol will be at Dhs3.30. Diesel will be sold at Dhs3.87. E-Plus will be available for Dhs3.22.
New petro stations are located in the densely populated areas of Al Nahda, Sharjah Industrial Area 3 and Al Yarmook.
The price of Super 98 is to drop to Dhs2.16 per litre for March, down from Dhs2.24 in February, while the price of Special 95 is to drop to Dhs2.04 per litre for March, down from Dhs2.12 in February.
The Fuel Price Follow-up Committee at the Ministry of Energy and Industry approved the fuel prices for the month of October.
The move comes at a time when India is staring at the highest ever tax collection shortfall, as corporate and income tax collection for this fiscal year is set to fall for the first time in at least two decades and the goods and services tax revenue could see a gaping shortfall.
