Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday received Muhyiddin Yassin, Prime Minister of Malaysia, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
During the meeting, Tayer expressed the UAE's strong commitment to further consolidate joint dialogue with the US, as it is one of the country's most important strategic partners.
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has expressed his deep appreciation for the historical ties between Pakistan and the Arab countries, which are based on a broad base of common interests and cultural, religious and people ties.
The UAE’s official and public participation in this year’s celebration, held under the slogan, "Together Forever," confirms the deep ties between the two countries.

Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the depth and strength of relations between the UAE and Pakistan, which, he said, are longstanding and based on mutual trust and respect. He stressed the two nations’ determination to grow cooperation across all fields for the common good of both nations’ peoples.
"We want good relations...and really don't want to burn bridges," Putin told both houses of parliament. "But if someone mistakes our good intentions for indifference or weakness and intends to burn down these bridges, they should know that Russia's response will be swift and harsh."
Both leaders discuss ways of enhancing the fraternal bilateral relations in addition to an array of regional issues of common economic and security interest.
The UAE and the Philippines have boosted their people-to-people relations, particularly in areas whereby both governments are going to provide and facilitate timely and effective assistance for the protection and welfare of their respective nationals in both countries.
The Central American officials lauded Sharjah’s continued efforts to build cultural bridges with cities worldwide and expressing their intention to highlight the myriad opportunities in the emirate to the business communities in their countries to pave the way for a new era of economic and cultural closeness between Sharjah and Central America.
