The donated collection included hundreds of titles of books, sources and academic encyclopedias in the disciplines of language, history, Islamic studies, hadith, men's science, translations, jurisprudence...
Sheikh Sultan visited the pavilion of the Emirates School Foundation, Sharjah Education Council, Sharjah Private Education Authority, and the MoE, where he was familiarised with means and tools of teaching children, in addition to the various educational publications provided by authorities.
Dr Sheikh Sultan issued Emiri Decree No.42 regarding the promotion and appointment of a Head of Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in Sharjah, and be a Member of the Sharjah Executive Council.
His Highness praised the role of the Board of Trustees in drawing up the general plans and policies of the university and making decisions that are in the interest of the university.
Sheikh Sultan toured the school’s building, which includes a section for kindergarten, a section for classrooms for the grades (2 to 6), administration facilities, a stage, other classrooms and various facilities for activities, sports and entertainment, among others.
Sharjah Ruler mentioned that a specialised department concerned with agriculture, livestock, and fisheries would be established to take care of the three areas that provide food sufficiency and support the environment's preservation.
Dr Sheikh Sultan stressed the need to cooperate with institutions concerned with cultural affairs, support writers and intellectuals, and revive cultural activities to enhance and preserve the Arabic language and heritage.
Dr Sheikh Sultan approved a number of new projects that the ALA will work to implement in coordination with partners from institutions concerned with the Arabic language from different countries of the world.
Dr Sheikh Sultan stressed that the current and future projects in the Emirate of Sharjah in general, and in the Central Region in particular, have many positive returns and benefits for the region and its people.
