Sultan of Bohra community donates to Sharjah charity

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation received a generous donation from the Sultan of the Bohra Community in support of its Prophet’s Neighbours endowment project, which aims to provide sustainable resources for the care and empowerment of orphans. This donation is part of the community’s ongoing charitable initiatives and promotes the values of human solidarity.

It reflects the Bohra community’s continued commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts worldwide and strengthening cooperation with Emirati charitable institutions that implement the wise leadership’s vision of empowering various segments of society and building a more stable future for coming generations.

On this occasion, Muna Bint Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, expressed her deep gratitude to the Sultan of the Bohra community for his generous contribution. She emphasised that this support directly contributes to enhancing the financial sustainability of endowment projects that serve orphans and their families.

She stated: “The Prophet’s Neighbours endowment project represents a practical embodiment of the values of compassion and solidarity advocated by our noble Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him). We at the Foundation are proud of this collaboration, which translates the principles of human dialogue into impactful projects that help build a dignified life for children lacking parental care. Supporting such endowment projects ensures the continuity of our comprehensive care services provided to them in various aspects of life.”

Al Suwaidi affirmed that the donation would be directed toward designated endowment expenditures, including comprehensive care programs. The project will support the education of fatherless students, provide healthcare, meet their living needs, maintain their homes, and offer vocational training, along with psychological and social support to deliver an urgent response. The initiative also aims to alleviate the suffering of widows and empower them in ways that enhance their quality of life.
