Dubai's Safari Park reopened its doors Monday after a two-year expansion, as the emirate seeks to boost its hard-hit tourism sector amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The closure will allow the park officials to protect its animals from any health risks due to the high summer temperatures. During this period, the park's facilities will be upgraded. The new season of the park would begin in September 2021.

Sheikh Ahmed was introduced to the observation cabins of Ain Dubai, which provide visitors the perfect vantage point for 360-degree views of Dubai, over the waters of the Arabian Gulf. The 48 passenger cabins have the capacity to carry more than 1,750 visitors at once.
The parks received more than a quarter of a million visitors, which is an increase of 76.38% over the same period last year.
