Sharjah Police clarify murder case involving Asian man, say wife and son returned home

The Sharjah Police General Headquarters has issued a statement clarifying the recent media claims about the disappearance of an Asian man's wife and son after a murder last month, denying such reports. They explained that the Criminal Investigation Department successfully uncovered the details of the crime, confirming that the wife and son had returned to their home country, with no missing persons reports filed.

The police detailed that they received a report of a death suspected to be a murder crime. Specialized teams were sent to the scene to examine the area and gather evidence and related information. Following the investigation, the body was moved to the forensic laboratory as directed by the Public Prosecution.

The CID swiftly  initiated  search operations to collect evidence and analyse data. By tracking and connecting details, they successfully uncovered the crime's circumstances.

Following the investigation's findings, legal actions were taken against the accused, and the case referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal steps.

The Sharjah Police General Headquarters stressed the need to obtain information from official sources, ensuring its accuracy before sharing news and information. They further affirmed  that spreading inaccurate information can mislead public opinion or affect legal processes. They also call on community members and media to rely on official channels.
