The victims testified that while they were standing at a Dubai shop’s parking spot, the defendant approached them and suddenly slapped them both and claimed to be an undercover police officer.
The victim mentioned that he was parking near a hotel when the defendants approached him and forced themselves inside his vehicle then put a knife to his face.
The incident dates back to last November, when police were tipped-off about the defendant’s possession of counterfeit money and his intention of selling it.
A 38-year-old Asian visitor was arrested and referred to criminal court on drug trafficking charges for smuggling 258g of heroin into the country.
The officers used the smart analysis device that measures the brain waves when the suspect sees the images of the tools used in the crime or the location, and provides a thorough image of the crime scene.
Dubai Police, in cooperation with the Department of Tourism, issued violations of Dhs50,000 on Saturday for people who stayed on a yacht without committing to social distancing and wearing masks.

The Dubai Media Office said, “Dubai Police, in cooperation with Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, shuts down a tourism camp for one month and issues the organizer a fine of Dhs50,000 for organising a gathering that is not in adherence to the precautionary measures.”
