Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier, now offers direct flights between Sharjah and Vienna. The non-stop six-hour flight to Vienna, will operate four times a week, on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays,
Air Arabia was adjudged in the Low-Cost Airline of the Year category by an expert panel of industry judges for the carrier’s innovation, sustainable performance and continuous growth, said a press release issued by the company on Monday.
Etihad Aviation Group and Air Arabia have announced the signing of an agreement to launch ‘Air Arabia Abu Dhabi,’ the capital’s first low-cost carrier.
Air Arabia customers can change their existing and new bookings made until March 31, 2020, for travel until Dec.31, 2020, up to 72 hours prior to departure. The airline said the offer is valid for travel from March 22, 2020, and is applicable to all fares including Etihad Guest redemptions and Etihad Holiday bookings.
The deal will more than triple Air Arabia’s current fleet strength, as well as support the carrier’s global network expansion strategy.
