After the swearing-in, the Sharjah Ruler exchanged with the new chairmen talks about important issues related to the roles of municipal councils in following up citizens’ affairs and the needs of cities and regions, and their coordination with government agencies to meet the needs of citizens.
“Due to the current unstable weather conditions, Sharjah City Municipality announces the temporary closure of all parks in the city. The parks will be open again to the public after the end of the unstable weather.”
This decision reflects Sheikh Sultan's vision to prioritise the improvement of parks and their facilities, delivering exceptional services that create an ideal environment for fostering social connections and offering a rewarding experience to the community.
Mohammed Al Zaabi, a senior official, said, “There is no truth to what is being circulated about the application of the tariff gates system on Sharjah roads.”
Sharjah Municipality announced that restaurants and cafeterias will be allowed to display food on tables in Ramadan, and that the necessary permits will be issued for this purpose, in accordance with hygiene conditions and preventive measures.
Dr Sheikh Sultan's tour is a part of his continuous inspections of various development projects directed by him in the cities and regions of the emirate.
The official working hours are from Monday to Thursday every week starting from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approved the start of the first phase of land levelling for the residential areas in Al Shannouf 1-6, totalling 3,000 plots of land at 50 plots in each area.
