The Sharjah Municipality has affirmed that its inspection campaigns will continue to detect illegal activities taking place in the community and take necessary measures against the offenders.
The move, which comes within the second phase of the total number of parking spaces intended to be subject to same system, aims at providing parking lots for the public by making them available at all times and preventing misuse of them.
The Sharjah City Municipality announced the exemption of 233 parking lots from fees, in the Al Mareija and Al Shyoukh areas, including some parking lots surrounding the Heritage Square in the heart of Sharjah.
Earlier, Dr Sheikh Sultan directed the Sharjah Department of Human Resources to employ 1,000 citizens during the current year (2021) in the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, with a budget estimated at Dhs300 million.

The Sharjah Municipality announced that the elderly in Sharjah would be exempted from public parking fees. The elderly would be provided with free annual subscriptions that allow them to park in all the city’s car-parks at all times.
Eng. Hind Al Hashemi, Director of the General Services Department at the Sharjah Department of Public Works pointed out that this project will contribute towards creating an attractive environment for investment and a place that encourages work and living.
The vehicles’ gears were also used to shape lighting and vehicle exhaust was used to form a fountain in the middle of the garden
The Sharjah Ruler began his visit by touring Kshisha Park, which includes outdoor playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment area, a lake and a jogging track, along with areas for games and skating, a children's theatre, and 55 outdoor sites.
