The DXB Snow Run, the first of its kind in the world, has received an overwhelming response from members of UAE’s enthusiastic sports-loving community, forcing organisers to close registration early because all spots have been taken.
A huge number of participants, mostly Emiratis and tourists, representing 46 nation, will be at the start line of the DXB Snow Run, which takes place at Ski Dubai in the Mall of the Emirates on Friday.
The state-of-the-art facility has also established itself as a hub for international competitions by hosting numerous prestigious events such as UAE National Ski and Snowboard Championships, The World Cup and Para Snowboard World Cup, which attract both competitors and spectators from around the globe.
For Season 26, Global Village is welcoming guests daily from Saturday to Wednesday from 4:00pm until 12:00am. On Thursday, Friday, and all public holidays, opening hours are 4:00pm until 1:00am. Mondays are exclusively reserved for families except on public holidays.
All guests at Snow Cinema will also receive rental clothing (jacket and pants), fleece gloves, socks, boots, beanie hat, blanket, stereo wireless headphones and a dedicated locker.
Following the huge success of the first DXB Snow Run, this year Dubai Sports Council and Majid Al Futtaim are promising more thrills and chills in the second edition.
