The online submission of all requirements for job contract verification (JCV) at the Philippine Overseas Labour Office in Dubai (POLO-Dubai) will be open to all applicants beginning August 1 (Monday).

The strategy aims to build on Dubai’s achievement of attracting more than 1,000 companies in the fields of blockchain and metaverse.
According to the resolution, if the establishment undertakes fake Emiratisation related to Nafis’ initiatives and programmes, an administrative fine of no less than Dhs20,000 and not more than Dhs100,000 for each Emirati employee will be imposed.
The fines are Dhs6,000 per month, a total of Dhs72,000 annually, for each Emirati who has not been employed as per the requisite percentage to be achieved by the end of 2022.
The decree-law establishes an integrated framework to strengthen and regulate labor relations with domestic workers in the UAE, and defines the responsibilities of the parties to the relationship in a way that preserves their rights and obligations in a balanced manner.
