The Sharjah Economic Development Department, SEDD, lauded the package of incentives and decisions approved by the Government of Sharjah to support the government and private entities, as well as business sectors and individuals.
Incentives package includes exempting economic establishments whose business has been temporarily suspended during the crisis due to the implementation of the precautionary measures from licence renewal fees for one year.
The number of economic incentives launched by the Federal Government and local governments in the country’s emirates exceeded 100 over 45 days, as per a survey conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority.These incentives include providing banking facilities to various economic sectors and small and medium-sized enterprises, SME, in addition to individuals, as well as granting exemptions, postponing dues and opening other related facilities, which will result in positive outcomes during the second quarter of 2020.
