The Cabinet, under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has approved a Resolution that obliges residential homeowners to install fire detector devices and subscribe to the Civil Defence e-system.
Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has issued a resolution appointing Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Shorafa Al Hammadi as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Etihad Aviation Group Company.
The 193-member General Assembly scheduled a vote on the resolution for Wednesday afternoon after hearing 120 speeches. Unlike Security Council resolutions, General Assembly resolutions are not legally binding but they do have clout in reflecting international opinion.
Vehicles can be parked in public parking areas for a maximum of four consecutive hours in roadside parking slots; 24 hours in parking lots; and 30 days in multi-storey parking facilities.
The move seeks to align the ICT strategies of government entities with the emirate’s strategic objectives towards digital transformation, as well as mitigate the risks associated with digitalisation initiatives launched in the government.
According to the resolution, the establishment must pay the labourer’s salary at a rate of no less than 90% of the total registered workforce, and that the due date should not be after the 15th of the following month.
