The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that an e-visa centre for issuing visas to the UAE will be opened next month in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
Omar Obaid Al Shamsi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mentioned that this initiative aims to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and their communities, marking an important step toward enhancing bilateral cooperation.
He explained that the new centre will allow applicants in Lebanon to manage visa-related tasks locally, making the process more efficient and quicker, adhering to the regulations and requirements set by the relevant authorities.
Additionally, Al Shamsi noted that the establishment of the centre reflects the UAE's commitment to adopting innovative digital solutions, which streamline procedures, improve service efficiency, and provide a smoother and more flexible experience for customers both domestically and internationally, in line with the country's digital transformation goals.
