The UAE Space Agency, the College of Food and Agriculture at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) and NanoRacks have confirmed the palm seed experiment, that forms a part of the “Palm in Space” project, has safely reached the International Space Station (ISS).

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) has announced that Hazzaa AlMansoori, the UAE’s first astronaut to travel to the International Space Station (ISS) on Sept.25, will host a traditional Emirati food night at the station.

Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum made a phone call to Emirati astronauts Hazzaa Al Mansoori and Sultan Al Neyadi before they started their 15-day quarantine period ahead of the launch of their mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
Upon the successful completion of their final tests UAE astronauts, the main crew and the back-up crew addresses media.
The main facade of Nasdaq building has paid tribute to Al Mansoori, saying, "A proud moment. Welcome back home Hazzaa Al Mansoori, UAE’s first astronaut, to reach the International Space Station, ISS."
